Lisa Brochu Receives Honorary Recognition for 2020 Good Neighbor Award by the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®

 Londonderry, NH - 08.31.2020 - Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty is immensely proud to recognize Lisa Brochu for earning an honorary recognition in the 2020 presentation of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award for her efforts with the Deerfield Food Pantry. The Pantry will receive a check for $2,000 in Brochu’s honor. Not only is Brochu an accomplished and successful REALTOR® with Verani Realty, but she is an active and loyal member of the Greater-Manchester community. She has worked tirelessly for over two decades to better the lives of those less fortunate and struggling within her community. 

The Good Neighbor Award recognizes REALTORS® who make extraordinary contributions and commitments to improving the quality of life in their communities. The nominees are considered based on their personal impact in their community through volunteer work. Local REALTOR® associations select a recipient from their respective states, and five of those recipients are selected each fall at the National Association of REALTORS® Conference to receive a $10,000 grant towards their charity.

Brochu has been an active volunteer at many local organizations and has dedicated herself completely to bettering the lives of others. “A Food Pantry distribution is the culmination of hundreds of moving parts and many human interactions. Fortunately, our Food Pantry has Lisa who, for over ten years, has organized many of those moving parts and excelled at her relationships with others. With a reassuring smile, she welcomes and guides our vulnerable residents.” said Co-Coordinator for the Deerfield Food Pantry, Denise Greig. 

Along with her vital role within the community, Brochu also brings her love of volunteering and charitable spirit to Verani Realty as an ambassador for VeraniCARES, Verani’s philanthropic arm. Brochu commented, “through VeraniCARES I am able to fulfill my desire to help people no matter the need. I am honored to be an ambassador and I am constantly looking for ways for us to make a difference in people's lives. Sometimes it is just a small check to a family who lost their home in a fire, and sometimes it is on a larger scale like the NH Food Bank. No matter the size, I am proud to be part of such a fantastic organization.”
